SMILE AT LIFE!

A person is not always happy, nor always unhappy.

There's not always plenty or always few.

Yet, no situation in life is permanent.
Just as every night has a morning, every winter has a spring.

The events in our lives also have an end and the next one has a beginning.

Life is always in a transformation and it has no stasis.

It is impossible for something to remain the same forever.

Even though people know this, why do they still complain?

Why do we often use complaint sentences filled with "always" and "never"?

When Iris woke up in the morning, she felt depressed. She had a lot of work to do, but she had no energy to do it. She had many mishaps while preparing breakfast for her children. Nevertheless, she tried her best to prepare the table in the best possible way. When she started to clean her house, the end of the broom broke. A short while later, she hit her elbow on the door handle. While cleaning her child's room, suddenly her toys were scattered on the floor.

So what did Iris do when all this happened?

Did she grumble, complain, and quit every job she had?

Or did she continue to strive for her work despite all these setbacks?

The real question is how Iris reacted to all this. Because life presents us with a question, a problem to answer at every moment. That’s why the way we respond to life’s questions matters. Despite the setbacks in life, it is not easy to be patient and focus on what we have to do, to do our work as if everything is fine, to maintain our motivation on an average day.

In such situations, people usually prefer to complain. As they complain, they become unable to see the cause of the problem. And without understanding the cause, the likelihood of solving the problem decreases. In other words, they don’t just complain they make the problem unsolvable. The problem doesn't just stand there, does it? Problems that are as small as a pinhole unless they are solved; perhaps at the end of a lifetime, they turn into a black hole. That’s why a never-ending cycle of complaints is more than just complaining, it’s complainifying.

"COMPLAINIFYING"

Perhaps a new verb has been added to the literature for this reason. It should be added so people don’t think of it as only “grumbling on.” It should be added so that one knows what it is. Because people cannot solve what they don’t understand.
Where does a person complainify?
When does a person complainify?
What happens when people complainify?
What can be done to avoid complainifying?

The mind works with questions and answers.

It's on us to ask and on you to answer and continue the questions.

Now, let’s return to Iris...

From the start, it’s clear how that day will go. Whatever she touches seems to be met with setbacks. It’s one of those days we all experience from time to time.

On such days, if one keeps a smile despite everything and patiently tries to carry on with the task at hand, that day will surely end. However, if one complains and even goes further and starts complaining... One cannot get out of the job or out of the black hole one has started to make.

Well then, smile at life!
